Erika began her martial arts career when she was only four years old and retired from professional competition in 2012. She and her husband, Jake, welcomed their first child Lucas in 2017. In her free time, Erika loves to play sports, hike with her dogs and coach competitive men’s gymnastics. During the summer she enjoys visiting Lake Placid with her family. One of her favorite places on Long Island is Sagamore Hill in Oyster Bay.
Credentials: 16 years of coaching experience. Regional director of Ninja Programs for all 6 Gold Medal Gymnastics Center locations. Boys USAG Jr. Olympic team director and head coach at GMGC Huntington. 2016 NYS Men’s Compulsory Gymnastics Coach of the Year. Directed National Competition Team for Sport Martial Arts. Manages her own private training business which includes men’s and women’s gymnastics, martial arts, self defense, dry land training for diving, tumbling, acro for dance, strength training, speed and agility training, flexibility and special needs.
