Courtney is a Long Island native who first came to LOLMS 9 years ago as a parent when her oldest child was just three. Her work as a TV producer took her around the world and deepened her curiosity and passion for music, nature, dance and food. Her life-long love of dance culminated in competitive swing dancing, where she found her most important partner: her husband, Chris. She is a Jazz and choir vocalist, accomplished cook, and ukulele player. After the birth of her first child, she became a birth and postpartum doula, which she continued until she was offered a position by Love of Learning’s co-founder, Sheldon Thompson. Courtney loves being a part of the Love of Learning team and brings enthusiasm and joy to our community in everything she does.
